MYOUNGPUM ANDONG SOJU CO. is the company incorporated as Myoungpum Andong Soju Agricultural Cooperative in 2008 with an aim to specialize in upgrading as well as popularizing the soju or hard liquor produced in Andong region by combining its tradition with new technologies. As is broadly well known, Andong soju is a kind of high-proof distilled spirits (40~45%) and is mostly offered for gift with high-quality ceramic packing at a high price, being thus unlikely available for public. In an effort to upgrade as well as popularize Andong soju, our company developed a low-proof soju(20%/30%) with soft sense and placed it on the market in a high class bottle so that customers can enjoy it conveniently and economically.
MYOUNGPUM ANDONG SOJU is distilled from environment-friendly Korean rice and water that comes from the rock bed lower than 158M under the ground with the new technologies that use distillation at reduced pressure and frozen filtration. You can feel genuine flavor of soju that leaves no aftermath of usual hard liquors as it is fittingly applied to taste of contemporaries with its soft reminiscence of traditional flavor and fragrance.
